PLOT.OUTLINE...:

Singer Aida (Claudia Cardinale) is callously ditched by
Marcello Mainardi, who instructs his younger brother Lorenzo
(Jacques Perrin) to brush her off when she comes by their
parent's large house. Encouraged by his priest-tutor (Romolo
Valli) to be virtuous, the sincere 16 year-old helps the
beautiful young woman, spending his mother's money and
eventually getting Aida a hotel room on his mother's tab.
Aida is pestered by old boyfriends and easily picked up by
businessmen in the hotel, which causes Lorenzo terrible
feelings of pain. Aida too is saddened - Lorenzo is simply
too young, but his gentlemanly valor is impossible not to
love.

According to IMDB and other websites this film is in Italian
and French. However this DVD seems to be completely in
Italian.

There are two samples provided in this release:
1. wthd-gwsuitcase-s.avi
2. wthd-gwsuitcase-s2.avi

Sample 1 is the regular 1 minute sample of the rip. Sample 2
is under 20 seconds and shows some kind of desynch in audio
and video in a scene. I guess this desynch must be some
dubbed french but I am not sure.

A Vobsample has been provided to show that this desynch also
occurs in the DVD, meaning the release is not desynched.

Still, this is a great movie, and this rip is made from the
best of the two available DVDs.

Recent events have shaken up considerably the scene as a
whole. While it is unfortunate, it is inevitable.
TheWretched will continue to pursue its goals and try to
bring you quality movies.

Also, we are aware that the few of you who read these
comments sometimes find them inappropriate; some even going
as far as to say we are condescending. (We love you SAPHiRE!)
I hope you all know we like to kid around a lot in this part
of our .nfo and that we are rarely trying to be negative.
Some points brought up in the past had a certain truth and
value to them we would back up any given day though.

But we all do make mistakes and as long as we try to keep it
civil, there should be no problem. Anyway, it would be nice
if groups in general strove to be a little more professional
in their endeavours and seek to help one another when in
need. We all can agree on this much ;)
