Icarus is the first studio EP by American progressive metal band Periphery.
It was released on April 19, 2011. The EP features a re-recorded version of
their first single, "Icarus Lives", along with three remixes of the song.
It also features a re-recorded radio edit of their second single, "Jetpacks
Was Yes". The EP also comes with a bonus DVD featuring both music videos for
"Jetpacks Was Yes" and "Icarus Lives" as well as behind the scenes footage of
the making of the Icarus Lives video.[1] The EP has received praise for its
production quality and the improved vocal abilities of lead vocalist
Spencer Sotelo.
