Additional Notes
Well REiGN put out a release of this already, we dont want to reign on
their parade, but they neglected to mention one important detail in their
nfo: the fact that their rip has a video bitrate of ~2900 Kbit/s, which is
below the scene minimum (as dictated by TDRS2k2 and other similiar rulesets)
This low bitrate paired with a movie with lots of action/movement and scenes
that are hard to compress such as water (plenty of that) makes their rip
look pretty poor in many scenes and looks more like a SVCD. We do agree with
them that a movie like this is worthy of DTS, but it can't be accomplished
with a release with BOTH DTS and DD 5.1 on a movie this long, so we stripped
out the DTS on this release and will be releasing a DTS-only version
internally soon. This way both releases will look alot better than REiGN's
and the end-user can choose after audio preference.
One more thing, REiGN also stripped out parts of their menu to make space for
the movie, altho we feel that messing with the menu to save 50mb is not a good
move when you can just put out separate audio versions and have 2 gorgeous
rips with untouched menus.
PS. Enjoy this great movie!
