For reasons unknown, the earth's inner core has stopped rotating, using the
planet's electromagnetic field to rapidly deteriorate. Instantly, life around
the globe begins to change dramatically. In Boston, 32 people with pacemakers,
all within a 10-block radius, suddenly drop dead. In San Francisco, the Golden
Gate Bridge collapses, sending hundreds of people plunging to their deaths. In
London's Trafalgar Square, flocks of pigeons lose their ability to navigate,
flying into panicked crowds, slamming into windshields and causing drivers to
lose control of their cars. And in Rome, as thousands of tourists watch
helplessly, an electrical superstorm reduces the ancient Roman Colosseum to
rubble. Scrambling to resolve the crisis, government and military officials
call upon geophysicist Dr. Josh Keyes and a team of the world's most gifted
scientists to travel into the earth's core in a subterranean craft piloted by
"terranauts" Major Rebecca "Beek" Childs and Commander Robert Iverson. Their
mission: Detonate a nuclear device that will reactivate the core and save the
world from sure destruction.

Note to our friends at BHP: Our CONfidence wasnt a proper of your release in any
way; our release was simply complete after non-complete, similar to your dts
after non-dts releases. Certain sites accept complete after non-complete, and
others dont. I would hope to think that not all BHP members are as immature as
the member who made that childish flame. I thought I was reading the nfo for
an mp3 release for christ sake! Our affilsites certainly like our releases,
but if you dont, dont download them. You cannot call our releases any more of
a dupe than your recent Die Hard DTS rips. We feel that splitting a DVDR with
a large amount of extras, onto 2 seperate discs, is the best way to preserve
the content of the DVD while achieving the best possible quality. It's as
simple as that.

Digitalvideo was founded in January 2003 as pHDVDR, the DVDR division for a
certain well-known mp3 group. On August 15th, 2003, we decided it was time for
a change. We are no longer affiliated with any other group in the scene,
and even though DVDR continues to be our main focus, we have branched out to
many other sections of video releases, such as XXX, TV and VCD/SVCD. What
differs us from other groups, however, is that even though we do release
major theatrical/limited movies and current-season tvrips, we do not limit
ourselves to these genres. As you can see if you scroll to the bottom of this
nfo, our release list includes a smorgasboard of release types, including:

DVDR Recent/Pre
DVDR Classics          As you may have noticed, we have been releasing under
DVDR Horror              a variety of different tags, -DigitalVideo, DVMusic,
DVDR Music               DVXtreme, etc. This is for the benefit of our affil
DVDR Anime               siteops, the DV preteam, as well as the couriers who
DVDR Xtreme              spread our releases. Anything tagged with the full
DVDR Docu                -DigitalVideo will be a 2002+ theatre or 2003+
DVDR Series              Limited/STV movie, and anything tagged with -DV*
DVDR HDTV                will be the appropriate genre: DVClassics for classic
VCD TVrip               movies, DVMusic for music dvds, DVXtreme for extreme
DVDR/VCD Adult               sports, and so on. This is so everyone involved
DVDR iSO                 knows exactly what type of release it is at a single
glance :)

We have a strict philosophy on DVDR ripping, because we are very good at what
we do. All of our DVDR releases will be as COMPLETE as possible, complete
meaning all audio, subtitles and extras intact. Some groups think complete
just means keeping all extras, but if you strip any subtitles, lesser or
foreign audio, etc, you cannot call your release complete. In the event that
everything cannot be kept and still fit onto a single DVDR, we will split the
release onto two DVDRs, with the main movie on the first disc, and the extras
on the second disc. This usually only occurs when there are a substantial
amount of extras, so dont worry, the extras disc will most likely always be
at least 2-3gb. In the rare event that even with all of the extras moved to a
seperate disc, if the movie still cannot fit onto one dvdr, only then will
we strip any subtitles or lesser or foreign audio. This rarely happens, only
with particularly long movies, and some adult dvds. The bottom line is, under
no circumstances whatsoever will we strip extras from a dvdr. We feel that
the extras, in particular deleted scenes, alternate endings, and making-of
featurettes, contribute greatly to the overall enjoyment of a movie. DTS will
also be kept at all costs, if the track is there.
