Bullying students are becoming deathly
ill after screaming the name of a
legendary ghost. What's to blame?

It feels like only a few weeks ago
that we PROPER'ed a HafVCD release..
Wait a sec, it was only a few weeks
ago, WTF??

We tried to help HafVCD by pretty
much spelling-out the correct method
for SVCD encoding with our How To Deal
*PROPER* SVCD. However it didn't seem
to sink in. Haf responded by calling
us childish, and insulting (now where
would they get an idea like that?) :P
They also reminded us that they are 2
(count 'em 2) years old in comparison
to SONiC's few months, which is true.
In retrospect maybe Haf failed to see
how those very words dammed them.
Two whole years to get things right,
but still they encode like n00bs.
Sad that a younger group has to teach
an old dog new tricks, isn't it?

Last time we PROPER'ed them they had
used just about every dirty trick in
the book to make a 'fast' SVCD. Which
gave horrible results, and they were
were nuked for it. This time the NUKE
is for pure silliness, for which we
are at a loss to explain considering
the helpful info we gave 'em last time

* OVERSIZED MAX VIDEO BITRATE: Haf used
a 2520 max video bitrate. The SVCD
'scene' rules clearly state 2450 Max!
How many times must we go over this?

* UNDERSIZED AUDIO BITRATE: Haf used...
(Hold on for a sec, we're laughing)
Ok we're back now,. Haf used a 128kbit
audio bitrate. SVCD scene rules state:
Minimum 224kbit regardless of source!

* VCD IMAGE USED: (oh man it just gets
worse). HafVCD packaged their SVCD as
a VCD. Their file system layout isn't
for SVCD MPEG-2, but for VCD MPEG-1.
This breaks so many compliance rules
its not even funny. Or maybe it is...

On a final note, we'd just like to
say Haf was 100% incorrect in stating
that we live in OUR parents basements
We actually live in HafVCD's parents
basements, earning cash in our off time
by pleasing their sisters and mommies
till the wee hours of the morning. :)

The 1 CVD 'selectable' sub is for our
Nederland friends, if player supports
