Harry Angel has a new case, to find a man called Johnny
Favourite. Except things aren't quite that simple, and Johnny
doesn't want to be found. Let's just say that, amongst the
period detail and beautiful scenery, it all gets really,
really nasty.
Der Privatdetektiv Harry Angel bekommt den Auftrag, eine seit
zwölf Jahren verschwundene Person namens Johnny Favorite, der
Sänger ist, wiederzufinden. Bei seinen Ermittlungen pflastern
die Leichen der Zeugen seinen Weg und Angel wei nicht warum.
Er möchte den Fall loswerden, doch sein Auftraggeber Louis
Cyphre kann ihn mit Kohle überzeugen, doch weiterzumachen. So
führt dann seine Spur nach Louisiana, wo er mit der Voodoo-
priesterin Epiphaniy eine heiße Liebesnacht verbringt, die
allerdings in einen blutigem Alptraum endet
