Herbie.Fully.Loaded.DVDR.Replica.NFOFIX-iND
the original -Replica nfo states:
Subs - English, Spanish, & French
Ripped : French 5.1, Spanish 5.1, Commentary, All Extras, All Logos/Warnings
The release does *NOT* really have Spanish subtitles. The explanation is a little bit
complicated:
First off, I would like to give thanks to -Replica, probably the best scene
group around. They produce quality, and are honest about their shortcomings:
we found a similar issue with their subtitles a couple months ago on
Miss.Congeniality.2.DVDR-Replica , which they quickly did an internal repack
and fixed it up. On to Herbie....From best we can determine, the original menu was
not altered by Replica. It has buttons for English audio, French audio,
Spanish audio, English subtitles, French subtitles....but no Spanish subs button.
But....in individual rars/sample viewed in VLC, we only see 2 sub streams:
eng and fr. But when you look at the the whole extracted image in vlc it has
4 subtitle streams.
1 full english
1 full french
1 partial french
1 partial spanish
Partial? Whenever a scene comes up that has English words in it, like letters,
maps, signs....in the video those are English characters. The 2 partial subtitle
streams are the french/spanish [bracketed] translation of those signs. If a person
is watching the movie with French or Spanish Audio turned on, these [bracketed]
translations of the signs would pop up. Our guess is the retail has full fr and spa
audio. And the partial sub streams pop up the [bracketed] sign translations
when watching the foreign audio. However, it does not have Spanish subtitles
for the voices/speech! There is no button in the menu for Spanish subtitles. So
maybe the studios were lazy and could not find a translator for the R1, or maybe
they are going to do a Latin American dvd later on....who knows.
So...for the desperate:
Coming soon: a .Custom.SPANISH.SUBBED rls
In-store retail is out ~October 25. Althoguht it probably does not have spanish
subs, it will have spanish audio. One of the groups will surely do a
SPA audio rls sometime thereafter.
Hope this helps out the foreign scene, and saves others from
wasting 5gb

Additional Notes
This was initially 30 megs too big to fit untouched so we extracted
the credits and re-encoded them to keep the rest of the movie untouched.
This movie doesn't contain a DTS track so if you don't want untouched
video you can wait for someone to pre an internal with the commentary.
Enjoy :)
