Micky is a tough, loudmouth but
Supplier :: lovable 12 year old who lives with
UTi his younger brother and sister at his
Grandmother's (Brenda Fricker) house.
Archive Details :: One day, a meteorite lands in his
[CD1] = 55 RARs backyard and the kids believe that it
[CD2] = 55 RARs was sent down to them by their dead
parents (who they believe live up in
Theater Rls Date :: the stars). The government ships away
FESTiVAL (98-99) the rock and sends it to the local
university. In the children's efforts
DVD Rls Date :: to retrieve the meteor they believe
12/31/02 is theirs, they meet a dorky
scientist who finds a place in his
heart for the kids (Alfred Molina).
Meanwhile, Micky's parent's best
friend (Mike Myers), a drug addict
(who had promised the parents to take
care of the kids) owes drug dealers
money and eventually has to hide out
after barely escaping a hit.
Release Notes ::
UTi brings you another great quality release. This time it is a
DVD SCR of Pete's Meteor. This is a FESTiVAL film that was made
in 1998, but just coming to DVD later this year. It was shown
at the Cherbourg-Octeville Festival of Irish and British Film in
France and the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany (it
is in English). Hey, it has Mike Myers ;p. So until next time...
