We brought you this John Woo flick a while ago in a glorious Hong Kong Legends
remastered version and now it's time to see the rare uncut 20 mins longer
Taiwanese print. It's been released in France in a 2-Disc Special Edition by
HK Video, which is founded and owned by the French action director Christopher
Gans (Crying Freeman, Brotherhood Of The Wolf). The disc features the normal
version on Disc 1 in its original language but without English subtitles and the
longer Taiwanese cut on Disc 2 in its original Cantonese language with burnt in
English subtitles. The Taiwanese cut is in quite bad shape compared to the normal
version on Disc 1 and/or the Hong Kong Legends version, but still very well
watchable.

Note: IMDB states that a 141 minute cut was released in Taiwan, but I can't
confirm this since this version here is 124 mins, and the dvd cover says
(in French) that this is the long Taiwanese version...

Also included is the 30 minute documentary from Disc 1 (in English).
