D E S C R I P T I O N

This is the story of Ana, a first generation Mexican-American teenager
on the verge of becoming a woman. She lives in the predominately
Latino community of East Los Angeles. Freshly graduated from high
school, Ana receives a full scholarship to Columbia University. Her
very traditional, old-world parents feel that now is the time for Ana
to help provide for the family, not the time for college. Torn between
her mainstream ambitions and her cultural heritage she agrees to work
with her mother at her sister's downtown LA sewing factory. Over the
summer she learns to admire the hardworking team of women who teach
her solidarity and teamwork. Still at odds with what her mother
expects of her, Ana realizes that leaving home to continue her
education is essential to finding her place proudly in the world as
an American and Chicana.

R E L E A S E  N O T E S

Number 2 and certainly not the last. Now this movie was made on a
pretty low budget and the dvd screener quality wasnt all that. We
did a 5pass on it to make it look as best as possible. turned out
quite well. not the best ever but very watchable.

Now the movie contains parts with spanish conversation. There are
subtitles hardcoded into the picture for these scenes so no messing
around with vobsub. the largest part of the movie is ofcourse in
english.

A very nice imdb rating and winner of several major prizes at the
festivals. If you want something else then the chewed off non-original
blockbuster type movie then this is a movie for you.

- If you work at a video rental store/retailer and can supply DVD a while
before they are rented/sold to the public.

- If you work in a hotel and have acces to the in-house movie system and
can use this to record a copy of new movies playing

- If you have acces to any pre movie source , that was not listed above
you can contact us as well ( workprint , etc. )

- Stable Bouncers for our crew members to use, with ip's free to apply
custom vhosts.

- 10mbit+ / 100gig+ sites for private use of the group.

- People able to supply legitmate Hardware
