Plot outline .:
Nejat seems disapproving about his widower father Ali's
choice of prostitute Yeter for a live-in girlfriend. But
he grows fond of her when he discovers she sends money
home to Turkey for her daughter's university studies.
Political activist Ayten has fled the Turkish police and
is already in Germany. She is befriended by a young
woman, Lotte, who invites rebellious Ayten to stay in
her home, a gesture not particularly pleasing to her
conservative mother Susanne.

Initially brought to you by HLS as a dvdscreener, AEN can
now proudly present the R2 retail. As stated in previous
nfo, this movie really was one of the best movies the
foreign market had to offer last year. This one got a
nordic subpack, and I translated the english subtitles
myself, with some help from the dvdscr subs. There is no
need to bitch about it, they are as close to retail as it
gets. Besides, txd doesn't oppose this as long as it's
mentioned in the nfo and the subtitles aren't awful. Mind
you, we don't do babelfish translations. Thanks.
The Edge of Heaven will have its limited release in US
theatres on the 21 of May, 2008. Enjoy!
