Back from Eternity stars Robert Ryan as a
pilot who crashlands his jet in a South American
jungle. Among his passenger are Las Vegas show-
girl Anita Ekberg, murderer Rod Steiger, a
sadistic policeman (Fred Clark), a rackateer
(Jesse White), a wealthy socialite (Phyllis
Kirk), her cowardly fiancee (Gene Barry) and a
four year old boy (Jon Provost). As Ryan desper-
ately works to restore his plane, he realizes
that only five people will be able to make the
voyage back, and the passengers fight it out to
to see who will get to go. Directed by John
Farrow, Back to Eternity is a remake of his
earlier film, the grade-B classic Five Came Back.

From the "RKO Classics Collection" of LD's.
Both of Farrow's films, this and the 1939
original, Five Came Back, are without DVD
releases to our knowledge. Until we happen upon
the original on LD (also in the RKO CC) theres
this. Rarely do you get to see a director make
the same movie twice (and 17 years later).

FLAiR is a severely retarded group of friends
with a taste for analog video and forgotten films.
Whereas most groups stick with DVD sources we still
enjoy spinning 12" optical discs and rewinding our
VHS's like its in 1985. We're here to fill in the
gaps and give every "film" no matter how bad, its
chance at an audience (or at least a good chuckle.)
While our greatest love resides with 80's b-movies
and childhood classics, we enjoy all movies and will
rip any abandoned film regardless of production year.
