M O V i E S U M M A R Y
A peasant comes to St. Petersburg to find work. He unwittingly helps in
the arrest of an old village friend who is now a labor leader. The
unemployed peasant is also arrested and sent to fight in World War I.
After three years, he returns ready for revolution.

R I P P E R ' S N O T E S
A few different shutter speeds used to film this forgotten classic from
the silent era. I counted 16, 18 and 20FPS patterns. But had to go with
the highest framerate so there wouldn't be any missing frames. Most of
the movie was filmed at 20FPS. Included a VOB sample that shows a 16 and
20 FPS pattern.
