Dear ladies and gentlemen

6 years ago I played my first show at a small bar in a small
city of a small country: Switzerland.

6 years later, after having played hundreds of international
shows & overcoming thousands of kilometres the demand for a
live recording and some documentary insight was rising.

Well, here you are!

We are happy to announce the release of The Rules of Fire.

The Rules of Fire are: A 60 minutes long documentary film by
French director Jeremiah, 23 live recordings including 3
previously unreleased tracks and a book of 48 pages with
exclusive photography and interviews.

This release is named after The 10 Rules of Fire - Hunger's
10 commandments.

THE MOVIE

The Rules of Fire - A documentary film featuring Sophie
Hunger.

It shares its name with the 10 Rules of Fire - Hunger's
collection of principles that a musician ought to follow.
The film shows a variety of live performances and on the
road footage of her European Tour in 2013 all circling
around the golden rules.

talking  about  just another  war somewhere.  neon
sunrise crushing  through  grey clouds. industrial
wasteland.  dry burned eyes mirroring white lines.
in  front  of  this  machine for hours now. was it
days?  caffeine,  nicotine,  amphetamine.  getting
stats  up.   trans   atlantic   glide.   ice  cold
technology versus the weakness of the human flesh.
