The movie tells the story of the bandit
queen Phoolan Devi who was sent to prison in
1983 and got free in 1994...
aAF released this amazing movie a few days
ago. Unfortunatly they didnt notice that
this problematic source needs some special
treatment. Their rip suffered from constant
color missplacing on fast movement scenes,
caused by bad deinterlacing. Our sample, the
vobsample and aAF's sample are included and
all showing the same scene. Take a look at
the paddle or the car...
On the technical side, XviD RC2 was used for
this encode. 1BFrame with PB was used to
increase compressability but also maintain
compatability with ffdshow, recent xvid
builds and most standalones.
The bad deinterlacing on aAF's appeareantly
consumed alot of video bitrate. We took the
opportunity to increase the resolution,
and the MP3 bitrate...
