PLOT
Miracle at St. Anna follows four black soldiers of the
all-black 92nd Infantry Division who get trapped near a small
Tuscan village on the Gothic Line during the Italian Campaign
of World War II after one of them risks his life to save an
Italian boy.
The story is inspired by the August 1944 Sant'Anna di Stazzema
massacre perpetrated by the Waffen-SS in retaliation to Italian
partisan activity. There is also a reference to a sculpted head
from Ponte Santa Trinita in Florence that acts as a plot device.

NOTE
That's right, this is an XviD rip of the BluRay disc of this
movie. It came out before the DVD so we decided to use it.
VST thought the same, but because they don't have a source
they figured they might as well use NGR's 720p x264 and lower
the bitrate of the AC3 track a bit and omit subs.
We ripped this straight from the BluRay disc and used MP3
audio to preserve a higher video bitrate which is needed for
this long movie. Also we included subs which are needed for the
non-english parts of the movie.
Recently there has been an increase in movies being released
on BluRay prior to DVD.
Some groups have already started encoding xvid rips from Bluray
source, and while some mention it in their nfo, others do not.
Either way, they mistakenly label it as a DVDRip.
Due to the abovementioned changes in movie distribution, we
propose the following extension to the xvid standards:
- BluRay may be used as source only if no DVDRip has already
been released.
- Such releases must be tagged .BDRip.
- Reencoding xvids using x264 releases is strictly forbidden.
- BDRip dupes DVDRip, and vice versa, DVDRip dupes BDRip.
