ehemalige CIA-Agent John Creasy (Denzel Washington) seine
letzte Chance zur Rehabilitation, als ihm sein väterlicher
Freund Rayburn (Christopher Walken) anbietet, den
Leibwächterdienst für die zehnjährige Tochter eines
mexikanischen Industriellen (Marc Anthony) zu übernehmen. Als
die Kleine praktisch vor seiner Nase gekidnappt wird und die
korrupte Polizei offenbar teilweise mit den Tätern unter einer
Decke steckt, sieht Creasy rot.
