First of all, sorry that we beat you in the race of this movie. It'll
happen all the time, get used to it.
It's interesting to see propers like this, because it gives us an
opportunity to learn something from it. We cannot blame the "the
regular user" for not understanding, because we were shocked that
a releasegroup could make such a miserable attempt at a proper
and actually believe it themselves!
What disappointed us and made us laugh at the same time, was the
"proof" they gave us, that we used a 1 click tool, DVDXCopy, for
this movie. The proof is that the Application ID and Implementation
ID says "Derrow UDF/ISO Library". Ok "Sherlock Holmes", that just did
it, we are soooo busted. With IFOEDIT, the most common IFO editor
around, you can make an ISO image, like we did. Try that, and you
will see what you get as Application ID etc....
Besides, using a 1-click tool for an untouched movie would not make
any sense either, would it CHRONiCLES?
All layerbreaks are removed from the movie. However, it is true that
the UNUSED pgc's in the main movie VTS's are not removed, but those
pgc's are NEVER played! Removing them or not, does not matter at
all. Title 36, 37 and 38 are never played. You can basicly remove
those titles, and it would not matter at all.
Menu. We did not remove the duplicated parts of the menu because;
1. There is no need to do that, since the main movie is left
untouched.
2. Those duplicates are actually in use, and needed for menu to
work properly.
CHRONiCLES removed those duplicates in their "proper" and what
happens when the movie is done playing, and it wants to return to
the menu, it crashes, because they removed it. Is that not a bit
embarassing CHRONiCLES?? You propered us with a fucked up menu?
We included some screenshots too, in the "real-proof" folder
there are two screenshots from trace mode in pgcedit at end
of main movie, and trying to return to menu (which is blanked).
PS! if you look closely, you can also see those unused titles
36, 37 and 38 are never played (they would have been marked
yellow if played).
PPS, we also included the original screenshots from CHRONiCLES
in the "lolish-proof" folder.
Some final words.
If NL has their own rules for dvdr, they are still not superior to
the original TDRS. If you think you can do a better rip for NL, you
should tag it as INTERNAL, because when it's not valid, it cannot
be labeled as PROPER. Our release is 100% working, and follows TDRS
2k5.
We do not like to do notes like this, but we are sorry to see false
accusations that we use 1-click tools like dvdxcopy, among the other
stuff they claimed, it's not tolerated. We also wanted to give
CHRONiCLES a chance to correct their mistake, but they seem to
ignore us rather than repairing their mistake and saving face.
>> You may fool the scene, but you can't fool us.
Admit your mistakes and be forgiven, fooling
us only proves your disrespect. <<
