Summary
Acclaimed filmmaker Peter Weir's epic and profoundly moving portrayal of an event

Two young sprinters from Western Australia, the cynical larrikin Frank (Mel Gibson)
and the idealistic Archy (Mark Lee) meet in 1915, during WWI. Friends and rivals,
