- Release Notes
BLEEDING THROUGH has set Declaration as the title to the follow-up to The
Truth. The band began recording in April with producer Devin Townsend (LAMB
OF GOD, SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR) and Declaration is a concept album about
the rigors of being away from home.
Some of the songs are named for different cities or states, BLEEDING THROUGH
frontman Brandan Schieppati told Revolver in the magazine's May 2008 issue.
There are definitely places when we're traveling where every time we go
there, we're like, Fuck, why do we have to be here?' Like, we'll be in
France and all of a sudden we'll feel totally insignificant. You get the
feeling that people's eyes are just burning a hole through you.
