The art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface can be
rather complicated. With this course we go through the ability to draw
objects with height, width, depth, and position objects from a certain
perspective.
The first half of the perspective course covers basic perspective
fundamentals, such as horizon lines, how to build a room in one point
perspective, several exercises to try out, how elevation and diminution
works, the difference between 1 point and 2 point perspective, and the
simple idea of how to rotate a box.
The second half focuses on working with perspective and the idea of
foreshortening, how to use several measurement systems, a beach scene
sketch demonstration, basic 3 point perspective, and how to create
round objects such as cylinders and ellipses in perspective.
