Summary
Jack hears of a mysterious island which possess a well that
can grant any one wish. It is guarded by three blind archers
who possess supranatural hearing, who were able to repel an
entire robotic army with ease. Jack is also initially
repelled, but harkens back to the days of his training.
Blindfolding himself, he relies on his other senses to dodge
the arrows and gain entrance to the tower where the well is
located. Defeating the three archers, they are revealed as
former wish-seekers who wished to be the greatest warriors
in the world. The well made them so, but cursed them to be
its guardians. Jack realizes he can gain nothing from the
well and destroys it with his sword.
