PLOT
One of Australia's most popular primetime television programmes,
the award-winning A Country Practice is a drama series about the
residents of the small country town of Wandin Valley, New South
Wales. This warm series focuses on the town's medical clinic,
hospital, veterinary practice and pub.
Enjoy your favourite memories with Dr Terence Elliott (Shane
Porteous), his junior partner Dr Simon Bowen (Grant Dodwell), the
doctors' receptionist Shirley Dean (Lorrae Desmond) and her
daughter Vicky (Penny Cook), a local vet. And who can forget
Molly (Anne Tenney) and her husband Brendan (Shane Withington),
Bob Hatfield (Gordon Piper), Esme Watson (Joyce Jacobs), Matron
Marta Kurtez (Helen Scott) and Sgt Frank Gilroy (Brian Wenzel).
EPISODE SUMMARY
3x76 Promises, Promises Part 2
Having difficulty breathing, Razor is rushed to hospital where
the doctors perform a tracheotomy. After Les' release from
hospital, Frank and Shirley must take him back after he arrives
on their doorstep having been bashed. While in hospital, Les
admits to Frank that his wife assaulted him and has also been
responsible for his numerous previous injuries. Les tells Dimity
he will be divorcing her but when she later returns to hospital
and asks him to come back home on the promise that she'll control
her temper, he agrees. Terence informs Razor that due to a rare
flu complication, her vocal chords have been paralysed and she
won't be able to speak for up to a year, and may never sing
again. Jett sees her off to Burrigan before he and Cole leave
town, leaving behind Gabe who had hopes of joining the band.
Simon and Vicky's wedding party is finalised as Simon asks
Terence to be his groomsman and Vicky asks a gloomy Gage to be
her bridesmaid. Frank is uncertain of how Vicky feels toward him
but he is soon reassured when she asks him to give her away at
the wedding.
