PLOT
A light hearted drama revolving around two families, the Taylors
& the Todds, who decide to see how the "other half" live. The
Taylor's are city dwellers who dream of an easier lifestyle in
the country while the Todd's live on a farm and have always
wondered how they would cope in the big smoke.
Each faced with problems of their own, John Taylor pays his
sister, Sandra Todd, a Christmas visit to her farm. Joking that
they should consider swapping houses for a change in their life,
the move becomes a reality when john discovers that his daughter
Marissa is on drugs and Sandra can't pay the bills. Their lives
are at the crossroads so what do they have to lose?
They will confront the radical change in their lifestyles with
optimism, strength and a good deal of humour, learning in the
process that although the other man's grass may not always be
greener - there's a whole lot to learn by giving it a go.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 1, Episode 22. Cliffhanger
Marissa is depressed over her feelings for Tom. Tom comes and
wants to talk to Sandra. Marissa tries to read the letter
Isabelle gave him, but Tom says he would prefer Sandra do it,
which makes her more upset, as Tom says he can't read. Meanwhile,
Liz and John are trying to get a loan. They did not succeed and,
Isabelle tells John at the pub she hasn't heard from Tom since he
got the letter.
