PLOT
The highly popular series comes to a smashing end!
The life of a dysfunctional English family provides the basis for
this hit show. Housewife Alison (Amanda Redman) is a lottery
winner who keeps her cash prize a closely guarded secret for fear
that it will corrupt her family. Meanwhile, her husband (Peter
Davison) is embroiled in an affair, her eldest daughter disrupts
the suburban idyll by becoming a lesbian, and her other daughter
gets pregnant. It all adds up to a humorous poke at British life,
illustrating that everything is not always as rosy as it seems
behind the twitching suburban curtains.

Season 4, Episode 2
The divorce proceedings get messier Alison changes the locks
and repossesses David's Porsche, while he sends endless taxis and
takeaway delivery boys to the house. Meanwhile, Megan becomes a
customer of Sarah's wedding planning business, seeking a blessing
for her relationship with Virginia, but Virginia has had another
taste of Tamsin so sparks fly when the two women have the family
over for dinner.
