PLOT
It's a education in comedy!
John Alderton (Upstairs Downstairs) is Bernard Hedges, the
optimistic young teacher assigned to teach the uncontrollable
students in class 5C at Fenn Street Secondary school. Although
his fellow teachers have lost all hope in them, Bernard sees
much potential and combats the full might of these unruly
students in this Award-winning comedy series.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Episode 4: The Sporting Life
There is an impending visit from a school inspector and so the
school is busily preparing and focusing on sport. Bernard is
appointed sports master and his first task is to take 5C
swimming, where he discovers that Duffy is scared of water. A
further disaster occurs when Dunstable's home made swimming
trunks fall off.
