PLOT
It's a education in comedy!
John Alderton (Upstairs Downstairs) is Bernard Hedges, the
optimistic young teacher assigned to teach the uncontrollable
students in class 5C at Fenn Street Secondary school. Although
his fellow teachers have lost all hope in them, Bernard sees
much potential and combats the full might of these unruly
students in this Award-winning comedy series.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Episode 7: The Decent Thing
Sharon finds her Mother asleep on the couch after a wild night
out. Sharon leaves for school and it turns out that Bernard
has been sleeping upstairs. He presumes to his horror that he
must have slept with Mrs Eversleigh. Bernard arrives to school
late with a serious hangover and hears Sharon telling Maureen
that her Mother is 'in the club' and thinks that he has got
Mrs Eversleigh pregnant.
