PLOT
Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek, Bob & Rose) stars as criminal lawyer
Henry Farmer, a crusading barrister who is honourably engaged in
the fight for truth and justice in the British legal system.
Possessing a tremendous gift for cross-examination and a silver
tongue in vital closing speeches, Henry is a formidable opponent
and greatly admired by his colleagues. A gambler in every sense
of the word, Henry's daily life is perhaps paradoxically,
dominated by chaos. A huge workload, debt and alimony are
compounded by his love for the wife of a prominent politician.

After the collapse of a high-profile rape trial, Henry takes on a
civil action against the defendant. He finds himself crossing
swords in court with head of chambers Cleo once more, and to make
matters worse she has taken on Millie as her junior - which means
Henry has to find somewhere else to live.
