PLOT
Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek, Bob & Rose) stars as criminal lawyer
Henry Farmer, a crusading barrister who is honourably engaged in
the fight for truth and justice in the British legal system.
Possessing a tremendous gift for cross-examination and a silver
tongue in vital closing speeches, Henry is a formidable opponent
and greatly admired by his colleagues. A gambler in every sense
of the word, Henry's daily life is perhaps paradoxically,
dominated by chaos. A huge workload, debt and alimony are
compounded by his love for the wife of a prominent politician.

Henry puts in the performance of a lifetime in defence of a nurse
accused of murdering an elderly patient. Despite damning
testimony from an embittered colleague and the revelation that
the victim altered his will in the defendant's favour two days
before he died, the latterday Florence Nightingale is determined
