PLOT
Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek, Bob & Rose) stars as criminal lawyer
Henry Farmer, a crusading barrister who is honourably engaged in
the fight for truth and justice in the British legal system.
Possessing a tremendous gift for cross-examination and a silver
tongue in vital closing speeches, Henry is a formidable opponent
and greatly admired by his colleagues. A gambler in every sense
of the word, Henry's daily life is perhaps paradoxically,
dominated by chaos. A huge workload, debt and alimony are
compounded by his love for the wife of a prominent politician.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Ep 1: Blame
Henry finds himself single and temporarily homeless as he
prepares to confront head of chambers Cleo Steyn in court.
However, his luck seems to be changing as his new assistant
proves to be a treasure and he seems to have backed a winner by
calling his father, a Lord Justice of Appeal, to give evidence in
the trial of a train driver accused of multiple manslaughter.
