PLOT

Featuring the  formidable comedic  talents of  John Clarke  (Fred
Dagg,  Death  In  Brunswick), Gina  Riley,  Bryan  Dawe and  Ross
Stevenson, this hit ABC comedy  series is a deadpan, surreal  and
highly satirical look at  bureacrats in the throws  of organising
the extravaganza that will be the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

A classic parody of Australian bureaucratic culture, our bungling
committee - with comic legend John  Clarke at the helm - have  to
deal with a 100 metres running track that is several metres short
of the mark; over zealous sponsorship opportunities from  tobacco
companies; and a sex-change athlete - do they run in the men's or
women's events?

John Clarke brillantly  plays the prickly  team leader, prone  to
bone-dry quips, dirty tricfks and scathing remarks; Gina Riley is
the acerbic head of Games PR; while Bryan Dawe plays the  quietly
flustered money man with his eyes on the bottom line.

EPISODE SUMMARY

1x07: Dead Man

The swimming schedule has been disastrously modified at the  last
minute. Meanwhile,  Gina and  John are  asked to  babysit an  IOC
member who  has turned  up dead  the day  before a  major Dinner,
while Bryan and Jasmine go to meet President Mandela and Princess
Margaret at the airport.
