Plus One follows the best efforts of Rob Black as he attempts
to secure a beautiful woman as his date to a wedding in an
attempt to get his own back on his ex-girlfriend who is
marrying Duncan from boyband Blue.

Struggling to restore his self-esteem after his girlfriend
Linsey left him and a freak sewage pipe explosion wrecked
his flat, Rob can't help comparing Duncan's life to his own
miserable existence. Even his family and friends think that
Duncan is better than him. But then, as ludicrous as this
sounds, it looks like Rob strikes gold when his colleague
suggests he has a date with her gorgeous flatmate Nicky.

Rob reasons that the best way to upstage the bride and groom
would be to have a celebrity accompany him to the wedding,
and announcer Lisa Snowdon is making a public appearance locally.
Now Lisa has a soft spot for brave handicapped children who win
competitions with their pluck, but how can Rob find one? Easy,
just pay Craig, one of his brother's greedier pupils, to act out
the part for money. Lisa is well and truly hooked. Not only does
she admire Rob's selfless devotion to his young charge, she also
thinks that the happy couple have treated him shabbily. She would
just love to be his 'plus one' to help him get back at them.
Surely nothing can go wrong now? Well,it can if you allow yourself
to be photographed with Lisa in public unaware that Craig's mum
is about to brand you a pervert.
