Mythbusters Jamie and Adam test the myth that in a sinking car you can only open
the door when the pressure inside equals the pressure of the water outside.
Adam volunteers to sit at the wheel of a car that will be lowered by a crane into
a 13 feet deep swimming pool. According to the myth, when the car sinks, the door
can't be opened until the cabin fills with water equalising the pressure.
Jamie sits in the back of the sinking vehicle in full diving gear, but Adam will
only be given a breathing mask in case of emergency.
