Meant to pre this over two weeks ago but fuck it we're busy people.
Typical W4F can't make a point without trying to dox somebody or spew out some bullshit conspiracy
theory, which has zero baring on anything and is totally false.
Starting from season three, Robot Chicken became a 20 episode seasonal order, with 1 being dedicated to a special.
AS decided to change their mind not sure when... And started including specials in the season
numbering, this was after the season aired and retail was pressed.
They've also changed the order of episodes in their 'official' sources a few times, for previous
seasons so they don't match the retail or aired ordering. (Aired and retail are different for some
seasons as well)
It's also worth noting when these things air on TV all available sources at airtime, list them as a
special with no numbering.
I guess we should develop some time travelling tech, or wait 10 years before we pre so AS can figure
out what they're doing.
16.14.2) In situations where official sources have INCONSISTENT LISTINGS, or offer none at all, PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED NUMBERING must be used.
Tagging used by other groups and us going back 10 years aka the established numbering... Has always
been to exclude these special episodes from the seasonal numbering, making it an established
guideline.
Also some 'official' sites as we stated in the last nfo have changed their listing or have different
listings to other 'official' sites.
Robot.Chicken.S03.Christmas.Special.DSRip.XviD-aAF
Robot.Chicken.S03E14.DVDRip.XviD-FFNDVD
= S03E14, correctly tagged, DVD is incorrectly tagged as E14
- Retail order doesn't match aired order at all, so these are all mislabelled anyway.
- We didn't bother verifying but Robot.Chicken.S03E14.DVDRip.XviD-FFNDVD probably isn't even the special.
Robot.Chicken.S04.Christmas.Special.DVDRip.XviD-aAF
= S04E20, correctly tagged (No tv rip)

S07 is fine, special is still separate as
Lots of Holidays But Don't Worry Christmas is Still in There Too So Pull the Stick Out of Your Ass
Fox News Special
Even on the 'official' sites, even though the season was ordered as 20 episodes like the rest.

Robot.Chicken.S08.Christmas.Special.X-Mas.United.HDTV.x264-MiNDTHEGAP

S09 you already know
We aren't including the other numbering fuck ups.
Try watch some of the earlier seasons with the REVISED episode orders from your beloved 'official'
sites you keep throwing in our face sometime, and compare the plot summary.
They're all over the place, barely anything will match up, they also went and replaced episodes
S02E14, S01E18 with alternative cuts in 2008, 3/2 years after they aired.
If that doesn't scream inconsistent listing, we don't know what does, and just to rehash when
specials air they have no episode numbers and are marked as specials on all available sources at the
time.
Keeping all this in mind and based on previously established numbering we're going to follow rule
16.14.2 with regards to the specials, it makes the most sense.
If not feel free to go back and nuke 6 seasons worth of releases starting 10 years ago, because AS
decided to change their mind sometime in the last ?2 years?
And don't forget to nuke every retail, since the pred order doesn't match the aired order or revised
order for almost any of the seasons.
