Since 1938 a number of people have disappeared from the
attic of a Gothic mansion, owned originally by a spiritualist
and now by his stage magician descendant. Seventy years later,
when a young woman disappears in the same room, her friend Joey
Ross, herself a paranormal investigator, calls on Jonathan for
help. As the mystery deepens with the kidnapping of the magician's
partner, Creek's powers of deduction seem to pale beside the raw
intuition of his "collaborator". Meanwhile Adam takes an interest
in the porn business, both financially and, of course, personally.
