Roman, after discovering his impotence, urges his
wife Hanka to take a lover. She reluctantly
complies, and Roman, despite his earlier words,
becomes obsessively jealous. Spying on her, he
learns of her affair, and vows to kill himself -
not knowing that Hanka was in fact breaking off
the relationship...
Our releases use the Arrow discs as source:
- original 25fps television broadcast speed, unlike the US
discs which were slowed down to 24fps and have a difference
in audio pitch
- grainier and more detailed transfer (twice the bitrate)
- better framing with more info on both sides
