PLOT

The   first   six   episodes,  from   "Now,   Dr.   Upton"  to
"Congratulations, It's  A Toad",  were recorded  in black  and
white due to the ITV 'Colour Strike'.
Doctor At Large was a spin off from the popular Doctor In  The
House television series.
Michael Upton (Barry Evans) is a newly qualified doctor trying
to make a start in his chosen profession.
He has  a succession  of jobs,  including one  with Dr Maxwell
(Arthur Lowe), before returning to St Swithin's Hospital as  a
Junior Registrar.

EPISODE SUMMARY

Season 1, Episode 19: Devon Is Lovely At This Time Of Year

Mike Upton  has to  choose between  his surgical  career and a
future with Nicky, although he hasn't consulted her.
