PLOT
The first six episodes, from "Now, Dr. Upton" to
"Congratulations, It's A Toad", were recorded in black and
white due to the ITV 'Colour Strike'.
Doctor At Large was a spin off from the popular Doctor In The
House television series.
Michael Upton (Barry Evans) is a newly qualified doctor trying
to make a start in his chosen profession.
He has a succession of jobs, including one with Dr Maxwell
(Arthur Lowe), before returning to St Swithin's Hospital as a
Junior Registrar.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 1, Episode 21: Mother And Father Doing Well
Fellow doctor Huw Evans (Martin Shaw) and his wife (Ursula
Barclay) are expecting. Mike also has to deal with strange
patients (Blake Butler and Hugh Walters), and Bingham.
