EPISODE SUMMARY
Special. Season 25, Episode 8: Fact and Fiction (100th Episode)
A debut crime novel gives a detailed description of a murder
which is identical to that of an unsolved case, and the team
suspect that the novelist was involved in the crime, launching
an investigation. Burke becomes convinced that the writer is
the killer, but is exasperated as vital evidence seems always
to be beyond his grasp. So begins a cat-and-mouse game between
killer and detective, as Burke becomes determined to not let
the alleged murderer get away with the crime.
