PLOT
The story of high-life and intrigue amongst Britain's wealthy
sailing set continues in the boatyards, boardrooms and
bedrooms in Howards' Way Ssries Five. Glamorous schemer Laura
Wilde's arrival in Tarrant heralds a stormy ride for the
business empires of Tarrant; a fraud investigation threatens
to put Charles and Gerald behind bars; Jack struggles with
feelings of guilt and Jan finds more than just a business
partner.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 5, Episode 9:
Avril's business meeting in Malta does not go to plan when
Sabio Fernandez delays his decision and she is requested to
return to the UK to give evidence in the Charles Frere fraud
case. Charles is determined that Avril should be made to look
responsible. Meanwhile, Tom lends Avril a shoulder to cry on.
Laura bribes James in order to get hold of his HowardBrooke
shares. Kate's relationship with Admiral Redfern goes from
strength to strength. James reveals all to Jan about his
mysterious past and financial difficulties.
