In its final series, Stephen Fry returns to the role
of Peter Kingdom, a wise, warm-hearted solicitor in
the small Norfolk town of Market Shipborough. It's a
place where his cool-headed abilities are constantly
being tested by relatives and townsfolk alike.

Now that Lyle is a fully-fledged solicitor, he feels
ready for a new office, and suitably empowered, ready
for a new girlfriend too. Also on the family front,
Peter is about to discover the identity of the father
of his young niece - which proves quite a surprise for
all concerned. And the cases are coming thick and fast.
Sex discrimination in the army, mysterious crop circles
and alien invasions, animal research, druids on the golf
course, invasions of privacy and ill-mannered Lords of the
