"Welcome to Winfield"
The Grim Reaper (or one of his minions) arrives at a hospital to take
possession of a dying man. The man's girlfriend rescues him and as they flee
they go off the main road and arrive in the small old-fashioned town of
Winfield. The couple soon discover that the resident have managed to hide from
Death, but the couple's escape has drawn his attention. The townfolk try to
hide the couple but fail miserably. They refuse to give them up, and the
Reaper soon realizes that he would have to admit screwing up to his superiors
if he does reveal the existence of Winfield. Rather bemused, he leaves the
people of Winfield and the couple to keep living out their lives in the town.
"Quarantine"
A man is awakened after several hundred years of cryogenic sleep. He finds a
world where psychic powers abound. The people there want him to complete a
mission that only he can accomplish.
