Not the first time we've seen this but that was in another section. Shockingly enough it was done by same lamers.
BTX have been preing various releases incomplete and filling them up as it downloads and decrypts.
Pretty much anything that's live rared, which is easy to spot due to the busted headers and best
guess final filesize in the middle rars.
Todays ridiculous rar sizes also seem to be playing the same game as well.
It's a simple process:
A) Pre on a private dump / ripbox site, obviously only add trusted people who aren't going to say
anything since they're benefiting off it.
B) 'Pre' the release empty with just the nfo file
C) Download the file while decrypting, packing and filling the directory on the fly.
D) Get traders to add a higher timeout to cbftp or more FXP*50's
E) Ransom access to the site for slots on other sites or whatever.
F) Profit?????
This breaches rule 14.6, general common sense and 'scene' etiquette (lol like there is any honour
among thieves, this section was built on the back of stolen tools and the scene was built on the
back of stolen content), anyway even without a rule this isn't acceptable.
The trouble is proving such things isn't always easy, but generally speaking anybody can look at
complete times like below, the fact the sfv always seems to come last or when file info hits
prebots.
And see exactly what's going on here, timestamps inside rars are spoofed and can't be trusted.

Excusing the fact these shows are 'apparently' downloaded, decrypted, muxed, packed, ftp login,
spread, pre commands fired, sitebot announcements and then mkdir on some other site sub 10-20
seconds from going up which isn't even remotely possible.
Even doing all stages live and threading AES CBC decryption, that rip time is not founded in any form of reality.
Honestly we don't care about this issue, you're all racing the same files with the same tracks and the same quality.
The only thing that changes is the group tag at the end of the file that most anybody just rename
away once it ends up on Plex or Kodi anyway.
It's literally a waste of resources and time and not something we would ever waste our limited time doing.
But people have been asking us what to do about this and since we don't race, care and and generally
seem to be one of the only groups writing their own tools and exploits...
It coming from us might hold more weight, instead of some race group with brought tools having yet
another sook that "ohhhh we can't beat them they must be cheating waaa :'("
Cry us a fucking river...
Yes this is a valid proper, yes this is unacceptable, yes something should be done about it.
We're just opening peoples eyes to this stupidity even though it's clear as day, if you want to run
these groups out of town have it.
But much like the conclusively proven gang of three P2Pers GHOSTS/SECRECY/ALiGN/CONFRONT, STRiFE and EthNet
We aren't holding our breath anybody will do anything.
PS: Yeah it's a READNFO.PROPER deal with it... Feel free to nuke us we'll just keep preing invalid
dirfixs ad infinium again and draw more attention to this.
PS2: HBO Max has better quality video than DCU so don't internal that cancer, unless your muxing the
audio from DCU onto HBO Max video, rule 23.2.
