PLOT
William (Bud) Abbott and Lou Costello were an American comedy
duo whose work in radio, film and television made them the
most popular comedy team during the 1940's. Beginning in 1952,
their half-hour television series "The Abbott and Costello
Show" was loosely based on the duo's radio series and cast
them as unemployed layabouts. In addition to Bud and Lou,
there was the unforgettable supporting cast: Sid Fields,
Hillary Brooke, Joe "Stinky" Besser and Gordon "Mike the Cop"
Jones.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 2, Episode 11. Amnesia
Lou is in love with a girl he has never met. As a gag, Bud and
his friends convince him that he has already married the girl.
The woman who poses as his wife then makes his existence
miserable.
