NOTES:    Originally released in 1998, "Goddamnit" was a statement that
would define the next decade of Alkaline Trio. The landmark
debut album is now being re-released by Asian Man Records in
time for it's 10th anniversary. Faithfully remixed and
remastered (not re-recorded) by the albums's original engineer
Matt Allison. Now enhanced by the addition of the Trio's 1996
demo recordings, previously only available on cassettes sold
at the band's earliest shows.

The re-release includes a companion DVD with two hours of
new and vintage footage. Anchored by the documentary,
"Original Sin: The Story of Goddamnit" which details the
history of the band leading up to their debut album.
Interviews with all three band members, as well as Heather
Hannoura, Mike Park, Matt Allison, and Brendan Kelly are
included. With live versions of each song, culled from
hundreds of hours of archive footage and compiled to provide
the best representation of the band in those early years.
Introductions from the band members precede each song,
giving insight into the creative process and the meanings
behind the lyrics.

Elsewhere on the DVD is a second, more recent performance of
the album, filmed during the band's 2006 "Occult Roots" tour.
Mew liner notes and weitten introductions by Matt Skiba, Mike
Park and Brendan Kelly. Photos from the band's personal
collection, and new artwork by graphic design guru John Yates
