Three months since the death of his son and a period of
leave, Boyd is a man determined to get back to work with
his team. Stella embarks on her last fateful mission for
Boyd and we are introduced to DC Kat Howard (Stacey Roca,
The Office), a new member of the Cold Case team.

When Eve discovers that her new lover, Stefan, is
implicated in a brutal murder, Boyd promises to
support her. But when Boyd suspects Stefan of
people-smuggling, Eve becomes determined to prove
Stefan is innocent. How will Boyd and Eve resolve
their conflict? And which of them is right?

Plus for this series, acclaimed script writer Ed
Whitmore pens a dark story about a brother and
sister who are thrown from a 100ft bridge following
a horrific attack. But twelve years on is Boyd able
to give closure to the surviving sister?
