PROPER notes: ordinarily, groups don't proper over undersize in XviD
because various groups make various claims about the cause (too dark,
low motion, compresses very well, other bs). In reality, if your
encoding method preserves the full quality of the source for the codec
to use, and you also use the highest quality options in the codec itself,
XviD does allow you to make good use of every bit.
HOWEVER, it is clear why LoL's release was undersized... their encode
fails to make use of all the bits because of their improper, segmented
encoding method. How do you know that it's segmented? Besides the
common knowledge that LoL ruined dtv.xvid for good when they introduced
segmented encoding, they demonstrated that they used such a method on
this release in particular when they actually left out a scene of video
when putting it back together on their first try. Tsk tsk, gave yourself
away.
The result? Their first release was extremely undersized and contained
what they called a "desynch" (hah, hah) in their repack nfo, where the
missing video scene was left out. Their app even tried to compensate
by encoding the audio to 191kbps :)
Since it is clear that the problems with their release of this episode
are due to their inappropriate encoding method, AND even their repack
is still significantly undersized, we count it as technically flawed and
offer you a PROPER hdtv.xvid release at "normal" size and res. Enjoy!
if you REALLY want to enjoy, you'll want to get the HR rls instead ;c}

Why HR.HDTV.AC3.XviD? Twice the quality of DVD at half the cost of
space and traffic. Nearly as good as the transport stream itself
at less than 1/6 the cost of space and traffic.
The Q continue to expand our horizons and currently hope to
improve our dutch and slavic, so contact us with an offer to help
us in these areas.
There is room in the continuum for more immortal beings! If you
are capable of recording high definition transport streams, and
you want to turn them into high quality XviD rips, then you can
emailtheqcontinuum*gmail*com -- no experience necessary. OTA HD
cappers whose stations do not divide the signal are preferred for
maximum source bandwidth. No minimum upload speed (even dialup
users may apply).
If you've seen our ascii and thought "wow I could do better than
that," then be our guest and please do.
