Plot outline

Nothing is what it seems behind the well-trimmed hedges of
the picturesque cottages in the idyllic English countryside
of Midsomer. Beneath the tranquil surface of sleepy village
life, there exist dark secrets, scandals and downright evil.
Murder, kidnap and blackmail are commonplace among the
eccentric inhabitants of Midsomer.
Midsomer Murders is a long running TV series of
contemporary murder mysteries, based on the award winning
Inspector Barnaby novels by mystery writer Caroline Graham,
who the Sunday Times describes as "the best detective
writer since Agatha Christie".

Well, looks like this baby hasn't been released. So here
it is. Whereas the PAL version seems to be 14:9, the US
cover says 1.78. Though the US version does have a couple
of pixels more in width and a few less in height it's
certainly not 1.78. We went for 1.70 as a good guesstimate.
