PLOT
Set during the 1960s in the fictional North Yorkshire village
of Aidensfield, this enduringly popular series, interweaves
crime and medical story lines, with a host of colourful
characters that viewers took to their hearts, and a
wonderfully nostalgic soundtrack.
The Third Series - features Guest appearances by - among
others - Daniel Craig, Dora Bryan, Clive Swift and Susan
Jameson.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 3, Episode 6: The Frighteners
An elderly lady receives threatening phone calls and is forced
to move into a nursing home. Ventress finds a kitten tied up
in a bag in a stream. After taking it back to the Police
station and having himself and Bellamy making a fuss over it,
Blaketon becomes angry and wants it taken to the vets possibly
to be put down. He takes it to the vets himself, however at
the end of the episode it is revealed he took it to be
inoculated and Heathcliff the cat is revealed sat on
Blaketon's knee.
