NOTES
When Lois' despicable mother Ida (guest star Cloris Leachman)
visits the entire family is at their wits end as she is
driving everyone crazy. Malcolm is sentenced to sleep in a
tent in the backyard to make room for Grandma as well as
Francis and Piama who are also in town. When it comes to time
to leave, Grandma Ida ignores Hal's advice to watch her step
and slips and falls in the front yard. Now wearing a
neckbrace and "halo" contraption on her head, Grandma is back
with a vengence....and she is suing Hal and Lois. Lois,
seemingly nauseous from all the drama, pays a visit to the
doctor only to discover her queasy stomach is actually
morning sickness...Lois and Hal are pregnant again! Mortified
that they are having another child, stressed that they can't
afford the ones they already have and nervous to tell the
boys what's going, Lois and Hal think it can't possibly get
any worse...that is until their homeowner's insurance gets
cancelled.
